River Downs
12oz. heavy mug

1-1/16 mile 2yo (6f prior to 1983)
The Cradle Stakes, first run in 1977, is held each year at River Downs in Ohio, usually on Labor Day, and these mugs are given away free with a paid admission on that day. They are heavy clear glass beer mugs and in general have a picture of the previous year's winner on the front and a list of all the winners on the back; the first two years (1983 & '84) had only the logo of the sponsor, Miller Beer, on the front. Most of the back issues are still available in the track gift shop for $3 each. In the secondary market these seem to be fairly regional, mostly showing up Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
