The Florida Derby, first run in 1952 and held each year at Gulfstream Park in FL, is considered a significant prep race for the Kentucky Derby. In 2005, the event was moved from mid-March to late-March / early-April to compete as a final prep for the Kentucky Derby. Four different glass blanks have been used for this glass, used to hold the "Derby Daquiri". All the glasses have an orchid of some type on them. Note the change of liquor sponsors over the years.
